Where did the week go?

Seriously, this week seemed like a breeze and it's not even the long weekend. You know when long weekend happens, everything seemed so fast right? Well, for a full week - it was even faster!

Monday - B started his new job. As he was not very sure where exactly to park in downtown, he opted for the metered parking - so that's a good $11.00 Ugh! So, he had a resolve to get there earlier so as not to pay in the freakin' metred place. And yeah, I was at work at 7-ish! Not happy with that for sure!

Tuesday - Got an orange beach-y bag from K's cruise. Small token for taking over her tasks. lol. She shouldn't have - but it's a very nice gesture indeed. Was at work at about 6:30am because B had to be in by 7am! Ughhhhhhh!!! :(

Wednesday - B was told to come in at 8am because they will have an extended training. Went to the Y at 4:15 - good girl!!! :) Got Bernard Callebaut chocolates from RS and a box of milk chocolates from GT for the Professional Assistant week. Paige of the front counter at the Y needs to take my pictures for the permanent card.

Thursday - Tried the morning session of Body Trec; did 25 minutes and at least 10 minutes of abs workout. Walked to and from the Y - 10 minutes. Saw D and B - omgggggg - I think the chicka is true - but who cares!

Friday - 2nd try for the Body Trec but just for 20 minutes and 10 minutes of abs. Tried using the circuit downstairs but dang machines looked complicated and since I have less time to work on it (and figure them out), just did the outer thigh machine. Got my leave approved - including my meeting on Thursday next week at St. Joe's. Yay! Went to Holt Renfrew on my lunch break. Bought the STILA mascara, pout lips thingy, a new shadow brush and with the new swarovski clad shadow gone, opted for the other type (3-shadow, warm tone) with a mirror. Not bad!Fedex package arrived - got our fitting garments!!! :) Also, got 3 sets of the embroidery with a small sample of the flat beads! Got a Coach bag from Lyn! Nice!!!! Had pizza dinner at Sharon's - not good!!! :( Stopped by Williams Sonoma for a few condiments; B broke his eyeglasses and didn't get the appointments yet with the optometrist. Should do this soon!

Saturday - phoned mom and thanked them for the loot! :) Got lost going to R's Harvest Oak View shop but got there a few minutes after 10am. R got the kind of make up I liked!!!!!! Yay! We have a MUA! Got my touch up of my highlights and used my new Stila stuff! Will book another appointment for my hair trial naman. Was recommended to get a brow wax - noted. Went to Westmere by Chestermere. Lovely showhomes - especially liked Reid's Homes and the Landmark ones. They ALL had His and Hers sink, soaker tubs (spa everyday!) and humungous walk in closets! Reid has 4 rooms! Landmark has the hutch we want for the kitchen and both homes are on sound surround - hello, speakers everywhere! B was gaga over it! Toured a bit the Lakeside community, checked their 'downtown' (lol) - in fairness, they have a Safeway, Tim's and Subway and a nice looking Catholic school (up to Grade 10) called St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic School - neat eh? :) And did we mention it's a lakeside community - ahhhhhhh - very nice lake!!!! First time that I see almost all houses (say, 80%) have their boats! Grabe, I'll be happy with a kayak - but a boat! geez Louise! Had very late lunch at Chili's in Barlow. Ate the Guiltless Chicken sandwich - very tasty! :) B had Chicken burger with his usual potatoes (french fries). Dessert was a chocolate chip stuff for B and mine was a Bernard Callebaut brownie - grabe, it was so big - I thought naman super liit - imagine my surprise upon seeing the brownie with matching vanilla ice cream. So, all those slaving over at 6:45am at the Y were all naught. :( Had an upset stomach too - maybe from the combination of stuff I ate last night *bruschetta, crackers, cheese, smoked sausage. Yikes! :( Talked with Veluz re: fitting the garments online, embroidery clarification and handpainting for the moms. B and Kurt are out again - hopefully they can get home soon!

In the meantime, I should sleep. The make up done on me was awesome - I just had to take it off as I'm going to hit the sack in like, 10 minutes... Tomorrow is busy, busy, busy...
