We got engaged - yes, November 1st- and how time flies! It didn't seem too long ago when my honey proposed amidst below freezing temperature in Calgary weather. And now, we are planning Our Day! :)
There's nothing ultra special we're doing today... we are, if anything, busier than ever because we are neck deep in wedding planning - and without any professional help! Good thing we have wedding sources now like Wedding Bells (in Canada) and Weddings at Work (in the Philippines) - our vendor search is made easier by feedback and real accounts by eager brides to be from these channels.
Also, today is All Saints Day. We remember our departed loved ones - my lola and lola, Tita Lydia, our cousin Nerissa and all those who left us in the world. We know that they are looking after us and we pray for their eternal repose.
Remembering is a powerful thing we can do. We relive past experiences, savour the love and excitement and still feel warm and happy by memories. To my one love, thank you for deciding to commit yourself with me... and to our loved ones who left ahead of us - we hope to be reunited with you and our Creator one day...
