Movies and Pizza Weekend.

Don't you just love long weekends!!?!? Victoria Day seemed long in coming but thank goodness it has arrived!

First in our agenda was to buy gifts for Gianna who turned 1 yesterday for her party at their residence in Citadel. We had tons of fun with B holding the piñata for the kids. My loving hubby is a kid at heart - so yes, he gets to be the Big boy in kids parties. lol. Little boys and girls just gravitate naturally towards him. Maybe because he is awesome with them - and he can play with them with glee.

We went to see our house in the South last Saturday and found that there were some plumbing done on it now. And, they also got the sliding doors (that leads to the deck) installed. Yay!

And, with the long weekend, we actually had time to make our pizza from scratch! :) B was lording over the kitchen - having started the dough (recipe from Crazy Plates) - and it was a mix of all purpose and whole wheat flour.

So, while having our movie marathon (The Queen and Night at the Museum), we were gobbling the 3 Meat Hawaiian Pizza of B. We used pancetta, Hungarian salami and pizza pepperoni on it. Tons of lite mozzarella and swiss cheese, green peppers and pineapple tidbits. Bon apetit!
