My colleague has a 6-year old daughter who just says the truest, honest-to-goodness things. Here is a convo between her and her mom (my coworker).
C (the 6 year old): Mom, I learned something new today. Do you know what you call those people who only eat vegetables?
M (my coworker): Yes, they're called vegetarian. (Yes, the hardcore ones are called vegan...)
C: What about those people who just eat meat?
M: I know that - it's carnivores!
C: Wow, you're smart mom!
M: Well C, what do you call those people who eat both vegetables and meat?
C: (With conviction and a straight face) NORMAL PEOPLE!
